為緬甸及四川的災民募捐(第二次奉獻)
兩種不同的自然災害，分別在緬甸和中國岀現，並造成多人死及嚴重損壞；本主日彌撒將有第二次捐獻，為災區提供緊急救援及協助災後重建，故此陳日君樞機籲請各教友為災民祈禱及慷慨解囊。

Second Collection
Fund raising for the victims of Myanmar and Sichuan
Two natural calamities, one in Myanmar and one in China have caused a lot of destruction and dead. Cardinal Joseph Zen, is appealing to the faithful to pray for the victims and to make generous donations for their emergency relief and rehabilitation. We will take now a second collection, thank you for your generous donation.

《0° 探索》工作坊
為使青少年能透過團體生活使生命更加豐盛，並在教理、信仰和生活方面有所成長，成為一個真正的基督徒；教區青年牧民委員會，將於5月17日（星期六），下午2:30至5:30在聖斯德望堂（三樓活動室）舉行，主辦一個《0° 探索》工作坊，主題：談情說愛，期望參加者對「友情、愛情、親情」有更深刻的反省和實踐。歡迎公教青年領袖、牧民工作者及有興趣人仕參加，名額50人。查詢及報名可於5月14日前致電2614 2336青委辦事處（ Angie 李小姐）。

今天是世界傳播節，主題為「傳播媒體：在自我表現主義和服務的抉擇關鍵中，尋求真理，與人共享」。
按慣例，今日各台公開感恩祭將舉行第二次募捐，所得款項用作推廣本教區的社會傳播事業。

5月1日星期四定為主顯堂梅窩、坪洲、愉景灣及東涌四個彌撒中心的運動日。運動會將在貝澳沙灘及鄰近運動場地進行。項目包括籃球、排球、足球及其他室內的遊戲比賽，我們邀請所有教友分享此康樂活動，請踴躍報名參加比賽或到場為運動健兒打氣。遊戲比賽在上午10:00開始，堂區會租賃巴士接送教友來往東涌及貝澳。請已登記乘搭巴士的教友於當日上午9:15在東涌巴士站集合，回程時間大約為下午5:00。請自備午餐。歡迎教友捐款支持今次活動。
愉景灣聖三小堂主保瞻禮
聖三小堂主保瞻禮彌撒將於5月18日上午10:15在愉景灣遊艇會户外大帳幕以雙語進行。彌撒中將施行堅振聖事。彌撒後聚餐以自助餐形式舉行，每位成人收費港幣120元、二至十二歲小童及家務助理60元。餐券本週有售。

It will be held at Pui O beach and sport area nearby the beach. Please register today for the games, Basketball, Volleyball and Football. There will also be parlor games, so everyone is invited to share this day of recreation. Games will start at 10am. We will rent buses to take you from Tung Chung Bus Terminal to Pui O and return you back to Tung Chung. Those who have registered for the bus, please gather at Tung Chung Bus Terminal at 9:15 a.m. The return trip will be at 5pm. Please bring your own lunch, even if you cannot play games join us as a cheer person.Donations are welcomed to support the expenses of the event.
Discovery Bay Trinity Chapel Feast Day
Trinity Chapel Feast Day celebration will be held in the DB Marina Club Marquee on Sunday 18th May at 10.15am. The Sacrament of Confirmation will be celebrated during this mass. Tickets for the buffet luncheon will go on sale this week: Adults $120 each; Children (aged 2 – 12) and Domestic Helpers $60 each.

教宗籲請各地公開舉行感恩聖祭的大小聖堂，每年在救主受難日，特別為聖地的兄弟姊妹祈禱及舉行募捐，以支持教會在聖地推行的牧民、福利、教育和社會事工。鑑於支出龐大，宗座籲請本港信眾作更慷慨的捐助。

5. Holy Land Special Collection
It is the wish of the Holy Father that each year on Good Friday, in all churches, Mass centres and chapels with Eucharistic services for the faithful, special prayers be offered and a special collection be taken up in support of our brethren in the Holy Land and the numerous pastoral, charitable, educational and social institutions and projects sponsored by the Church there.

1.電影欣賞
本小堂將於 今天(明天) 彌撒後,在本禮堂舉行一個電影欣賞,片名〝天主顯靈〞,內容講述天主選擇向一個好似你同我一樣的小市民顯現,就叫他們負上傳揚天主訊息的使命。 故事有啟發性值得我們反省, 歡迎各教友在彌撒後留步欣賞。
2.聖週星期五
(1) 年滿十四歲的信友須守小齋。此外，年滿十八歲而未達六十歲的信友亦須守大小齋。

1.聖灰禮儀
鑑於聖灰禮儀適逢農曆年三十﹐按照教區的守則﹐信眾是日免守大小齋﹐但為履行四旬期真誠悔改皈依的精神﹐信眾必須各自選擇其他適當的克己方式﹐或履行一些愛德善工。
2月5日(星期二)﹐年廿九﹐當日晚上8時30分舉行雙語聖灰禮儀﹐並分發聖灰。
2.農曆新年感恩祭安排

梵蒂岡教廷已委任湯漢主教為香港教區助理主教，香港教區將於本年2月10(主日農曆年初四)下午3:00假堅道聖母無原罪主教座堂，舉行就任助理主教祈福共祭彌撒。

As the Ash Wednesday falls on the 30th day of the Lunar New Year, the faithful are dispensed from fast and abstinence on that day in accordance with our diocesan regulation. However, they are obliged to choose for themselves some other suitable forms of penance or perform some works of charity, in keeping with the penitential spirit of the season of Lent.
The Ash Wednesday Mass will be held in bilingual on 5th February, Tuesday, at 8.00pm at the Tung Chung Catholic School.

Bishop John Tong, the auxiliary Bishop of HK, has been appointed by the Holy See as Coadjutor Bishop of HK, and there will be a Mass at the HK Cathedral on February 10th, Sunday at 3pm to celebrate this appointment.
